Join the Tompkins Chamber and Tompkins County for an important workshop on Business Continuity Planning!
The next in our series of LEARN workshops, this session will provide critical information to support your business or organization in planning for natural disasters, business disruptions, or other emergencies which could impact your bottom line, workforce, and key assets.
The Tompkins County Department of Planning & Sustainability has been working with communities in Tompkins County and consultant, Tetra Tech, to develop the Tompkins County Resiliency and Recovery Plan. This planning effort has included the recent Tompkins County Hazard Mitigation Plan: 2021 Update. To help better understand the needs for local businesses to develop helpful tools we are asking for your feedback through the following 10-minute survey: Tompkins County Economic Recovery Survey (surveymonkey.com)
Another component of our scope for this planning effort is to have Tetra Tech provide guidance and tools for our municipalities and business to be able to continue to operate during and after an emergency or disaster. To that end, Tetra Tech will be hosting a training on business continuity planning.
