With strong commitments to community partnership and public impact, the Tompkins Chamber is partnering with Business Leaders of Colors to co-host our next L.E.A.R.N webinar on the New York Forward Loan Fund. 

Governor Cuomo recently announced the NY Forward Loan Program for small businesses, non-profits and landlords. The New York Forward Loan Fund can offer small businesses, nonprofits and small landlords working capital loans of up to $50,000 with very reasonable interest rates (2-3%) via several community development financial institutions around the state. These loans are specifically designed to help businesses as they reopen for business and can be used for a variety of purposes. During the webinar, our presenter Matthew Kennedy with Empire State Development, will provide an overview of the program as well as:
  • Eligibility Components
  • Regional Loan Distributions
  • Application Process
The format of the webinar will be a 40 minute presentation of information followed by a 20 minute Q&A.
