The Chamber invites you to an informative session with Capital Group, home of American Funds, outlining all the things you need to know about SECURE 2.0 facilitated by retirement plan counselor Andrew Claeson.
Finally signed into law, the SECURE 2.0 Act of 2022 builds on the improvements made by the Setting Every Community Up for Retirement Enhancement Act (SECURE Act) of 2019 with more than 90 changes affecting qualified retirement plans, IRAs, SIMPLEs, SEPs, ABLEs and 529 plans. Andy will also discuss the landscape of recent NY legislation related to mandatory retirement plans for businesses.
Andrew Claeson is a retirement plan counselor at Capital Group, home of American Funds, responsible for sales development and relationship management in upstate New York and Western Pennsylvania. He has 25 years of investment industry experience and has been with Capital Group for nine years. Prior to joining Capital, Andrew was a retirement consultant for Fidelity Investments. He holds an MBA from Bryant University in Rhode Island and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Rhode Island College. Andrew is based in Saratoga Springs, NY.
