Event Description:
Our next virtual Lunch and L.E.A.R.N will focused on Wills, Estates & Trusts: Avoid Pitfalls with Good Planning and held via Zoom during the lunch hour.
Worried about long term care costs even though you think your estate planning is in place? Afraid because you “don’t know what you don’t know” and can’t figure out the right questions to ask? Prepared planning documents like your Will and power of attorney but still nervous they will work when needed?
This presentation is for you. Geared towards individuals who have already engaged an attorney and have some estate planning in place such as a Will, power of attorney, health care proxy and even perhaps a trust, we will review the most common pitfalls that still occur in spite of good intentions. Better yet, we will share with you what to do to fix them and how to verify if your plan will work when needed.
A short primer on Medicaid basics will be reviewed as part of the presentation but this is not a discussion on Medicaid rules.
