The Barksville Inn

Created as an alternative to the traditional boarding kennel - The Barksville Inn is a small, cage-free, home-away-from-home for dogs in CNY. Pet CPR & First Aid trained Innkeepers provide round-the-clock supervision - never leaving guests alone overnight like kennels. By day - guests enjoy all-day play inside and out in our oversized fenced backyard. At night - guests choose where they would like to sleep - on the couch, in a comfy dog bed or sprawled out on our bed. No cold kennels or lonely private suites here.

By remaining small (our employer to guest ratio is 3:1) and catering to non-aggressive, small to medium-sized dogs - we are able to provide personalized care to each guest. We offer flexible Drop-off and Pick-up times that you choose and send regular updates with pictures or video clips.

All guests receive two 5-star rated, grain-free meals daily and plenty of healthy snacks at no additional costs. However, you are welcome to bring your pup’s own food/treats, if you wish. We also keep fresh Culligan spring water available inside and out

Our all-inclusive cage-free boarding fee is $50.00/night. We never charge additional fees for reservation changes, cancellations, holiday bookings, daycare during boarding, late pick-ups, meals, treats, walks, field trips or administering medications.
