The Event Coordinator is responsible for booking, coordinating, overseeing, decorating, and performing other tasks as needed for Coltivare’s banquet and event spaces. In addition, the coordinator responds to all inquiries about reserving and showing the banquet and event spaces.
Assists with menu development, invoicing, collection of payment and to ensure that every event has a Banquet Event Order (BEO) for it describing, in detail, regarding all aspects of each event booked. The Coordinator may also assist in the restaurant operation as needed for major events and special event weekends and holidays. Acts as an ambassador of Coltivare and being knowledgeable about Culinary Arts, Hospitality, and Wine Marketing academic programs and acts proactively to cross-market these programs to all guests. Responsible for upholding Coltivare’s mission statement and all of Coltivare’s service standards. The work is performed in accordance with policies and objectives outlined by the Director of Operations with wide leeway allowed for the exercise of independent judgment in applying policy to specific cases. The Coordinator is expected to assist the management team as needed with any other responsibilities that will enhance the experience of our guests, as well as any other duties assigned by Coltivare’s Director of Operations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associate’s degree and three years of catering and/or catering sales experience.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree and one year catering events and/or catering sales experience preferred.
SALARY RANGE: $55,000.00
