The Expeditor’s responsibility is to help keep a smooth workflow between the kitchen and the tables. Working in a fast-paced environment to get proper orders out faster and more efficiently. The kitchen expeditor must have excellent communication skills and experience in a bustling restaurant setting.
The expeditor will make service faster and better to help enhance our quality and reputation. Responsible for upholding all of Coltivare’s service standards and assisting the Management Team in meeting the educational mission of the TC3 Culinary Center at Coltivare and the College.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: One year of experience in a similar capacity. You must have enough stamina to be in constant motion and skills to coordinate and organize processes and people.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel food and equipment; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste and smell. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, reach, stoop, bend, kneel or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The Expeditor must be able to remain in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $15.00 per hour plus a percentage of gratuity.
